I received an email to renew my son’s junior travelcard. Clicking on the link in the email (which is only 1 week old!) takes me to an error page: “Sorry, this link is no longer valid. We apologise for the inconvenience. If you would like to renew your subscription, you can do so online with swisspass.ch.”
Ok, so I go login to swisspass.ch, where under Travelcards I find my son’s junior travel card. This listing shows the names of both parents. Below it is a link to “Now renew your travelcard”, which I click, taking me back to the SBB webshop (and unhelpfully switching to German in the process). On that page I see the renewal details including my son’s name and the validity date, but under “Begleitende Person” only my name and not my wife is listed.
How do I make sure the renewed pass won’t lose the connection with the second parent?
Also: why the continued need to switch back and forth between sbb.ch and swisspass.ch? The two are clearly deeply intertwined, but the flow between them is always sketchy (e.g. with cookie banners and language settings).
