No, but at Basel SBB station.
If you have got a hotel reservation in Basel, you can use the reservation confirmation as your free public transport ticket to get to the hotel.
If you are transitting to Basel SBB, you would have to purchase a ticket at half fare for each child between 6-16 years of age.
