Eurail Pass and tickets

I bought two Eurail Pass, but when I tried to reserve a seat, the website showed an error, so I couldn’t make the reservation.
Therefore, I bought a separate ticket from another platform.
When I boarded the train, the staff told us that we could get a refund.
but I saw a refund link on the official website, but it says it’s only for tickets purchased from the official site.I would like to inquire if I can apply for a refund through this link even though I didn’t buy the ticket on the official website.

If I understand you correctly, you bought tickets and not only seat reservations. Seat reservations are not refundable.

I you bought tickets, you can try to obtain a refund on the SBB site, you will be informed if it is not possible.

You have to give a proof that you din’t use these tickets, for example a copy of your Eurail Passes for the same day and the same persons. It could be a problem if you have flexi passes on your smartphone, I don’t think that it is possible to show again expired tickets.

If you are currently in Switzerland, you could also visit a ticket office.

Seat reservations and tickets are two different things.

If you purchased the tickets from a point of sales other than SBB, for example Trainline, you have to inquiry for the refund with them.
