The trip is even possible now. Locals have to commute to work and back, using the same trains. Train services are indispensible in our country, thus currently blocked lines are substituted by replacement buses.
Your trip is going to happen in 5 weeks. You can expect that the services will again be back to normal by then.
Unless you want to purchase a Saver Day Pass, there is no need to purchase tickets that far in advance. Trains cannot sell out.
