Krist lucky you!! This summer has been none stop! Twint down, delayed to and from airport.
I move a lot by train I first thought it was the French side because in all the time I lived on the German side I had no issues.
Now it’s everywhere more often that not.
I welcome lots of international travellers and this summer has been brutal they have faced all kind of issues, a guy from Australia was fined because his ticket was checked at 12:01 and the conductor said it was no longer valid. Mind you he was a stop away from his final destination and had been travelling for 2 hrs.
Explain to me how this is ok?
I was almost fined because Twint was down and I had to re enter all my passengers information 5 and was 01 after the departure time (the train left 5 min past) I had to re enter everything to pay by cc
I suppose I can say perhaps it’s a discrimination thing but I refuse to believe that that kind of bigotry exists here, I chose to believe it’s more due to bad training and customer service.
Another time Sbb luggage service was delayed and when I went to the counter they almost made me think I lost my mind, a passengers bag did not arrived and he was told the service did not exist!! I had to show all the documents all the transactions and after a day or 2 they sorted it out!!
Imagine how a tourist might feel ? What kind of image they are left with?
I agree when it all works it works beautifully, but lately it is getting ridiculously bad!!
This summer it’s been really hard and they make it seem that it is a one off, when it is not! And that really upsets me.
