I seek information on kind of tickets to purchase for a 1 day travel pass + a companion + 1 child 14 years + 1 child 10 years. 1. Is ticket fare for DISABLED visitor the same as a normal 1 day Swiss Day Saver Card? 2. Does the ''COMPANION'' have to pay the same price? 3. Is there a procedure that the companion gets a reduction? 4. Two children - 10 and 14 years - can they travel with them for free? Is this done online or should go to a station? I believe that the Companion card may have to be certified? Thank you.

Disabled passengers do not get a reduction unless they are Swiss residents and have the appropriate medical health certificate signed by a PD.

For disabled adults you have to purchase regular adult tickets. For children you can purchase a Children Day Pass, or, if you stay multiple days, the Junior Card (available at the counter only).

You might want to shed a light on your travel plans so we can suggest the most budget friendly tickets?

The passengers are USA nationals
1 adult disabled 70 years
1 adult senior 68 years
1 child 10 years
1 child 14 years.
Travel is in mid-October.
They plan to travel 2 non-consecutive days, hence need for flexible day-saver tickets.
Travel will be from 10-19 October.
Another question: If we manage to find day-saver tickets such as ‘’COOP CARTE JOURNALIERE’’ for 2 adults, then for 2 children, should they buy a JUNIOR CARDS at the station?

The Junior Card allows children to travel freely when accompanied by their parents. I assume that in this case the adults are not the parents, but maybe the grandparents? In that case the “Children Co Travel Card” which be the right product.

You may also want to look in to the Half Fare Card, as that comes with the Free Family Card. Especially if you plan to do any mountain excursions.
