Thank you for your response and for the warm welcome to the SBB Community. I appreciate your clarification that this forum is volunteer-run and separate from the official SBB Customer Service.
My primary goal was to express the frustration I experienced during the incident and the disappointment I felt with the way SBB handled my complaint. Not only was the staff member’s behavior highly unprofessional, but I was also deeply dissatisfied with SBB’s response to the situation. While I absolutely understand that politeness and formality are highly valued in Switzerland, it is equally important to extend respect and professionalism to all individuals, including those from outside Switzerland, in every interaction, particularly in customer service.
I hope that by sharing my experience, I can emphasize the need for basic respect and professionalism towards everyone, regardless of their background. I also encourage SBB to do its best in providing excellent service to customers globally, ensuring that everyone feels respected and valued.
