Saver day pass explain

Hi,

I’m doing a day trip from Milano to Luzern and I’m trying to find best (affordable) option for me.

I might also plan to jump off the train to see some towns on the way or take stans cable car..

I came across the saver day pass but got confused. Is all what I will pay is the day pass fee or do i have to pay the day pass fee + some extra fee whenever I book a train. In other words , if the day pass fee is 80 chf, is that all what I pay and I can use any GA area transportation?

The Day Saver pass is good for all public transport in Switzerland. You will still have to pay for things that are not public transport (like the Stans Cablecar…). But for normal trains you just find your train and get on. There is no need to “book” anything.

And you will also have to pay for transport outside of Switzerland. So in your case you would have to add a ticket Milano - Chiasso.
