Class upgrade for a day: Swiss Travel Pass (2nd class)

Hi,
My wife and I are travelling from Zermatt to Chur on the Glacier Express. We both have Swiss Travel Pass-2nd Class. However, we were wondering if we could purchase a day class upgrade. The SBB site does not show this option but I have read on many sites online that it can be done. I was wondering if anyone has previously been in this situation and if you could buy the day class upgrade for a Swiss Travel Pass.

Yes, you can purchase a Day Class Upgrade. You can do this at the counter or online:

RolandP Thank you for your prompt reply. On the link it says it is valid for Day Pass plus Half Fare Travelcard, (Municipal) Saver Day Pass plus Half Fare Travelcard, GA Travelcard or Swiss Travel Pass (Flex). As I do not have the Swiss Travel Pass (Flex) I am not sure if I should buy this online and probably get it at the counter.

Don’t overhink the topic.

Swiss Travel Pass (Flex) means either / or:

Swiss Travel Pass
Swiss Travel Pass Flex

You could also purchase a class upgrade for the route at half fare, instead of the Day Class Upgrade.
