Ticket price question

I have one question about ticket price. If possible, could you plese help us to explain it? Thank a lot in advance.

I will go to Milano Centrale form Spiez on 29th Sep, unfortunately, there have not train directly on that day. So I need to transfer on Domodossola. I find there has disscount for this train on 10:36 and it’s display “% from CHF 16.8” in the website. But I continue to buy this ticke, the price is 33.4CHF for supersaver ticket. I don’t understand what’s mean about “ticket from CHF 16.8”. If possible, could you please tell me why? and I need to how to do? Thanks a lot.

The first displayed price is always the half fare price. When you define the passengers, you indicate that you have no discount (if you don’t have a Half Fare Card) and you must logically pay the full fare. Please note: “% from CHF 16.80”.

I am currently seeing a rather weird schedule for that day. Given that this is still some time away I would wait a bit. Italian regional train schedules are sometimes publishe late.
For the regional trains advance purchase is not needed.

Krist Thanks for this information. No trains are effectively running on September 29th, but direct replacement buses are already available from Domodossola to Milano.

Krist Thanks for your information. I have already arrange everything for my travel schedule. so I must leave Spiez on 29th Sep to Milano. I plan to buy the ticket on SBB for from Spiez to Domodossola. and then buy a ticket on Trenitalia for from Domodossola to Spiez.

Danhiel Hi Danhiel, You means there have no trains on Spetemeber 29th from Domodossola to Milano? But I find there have many trains or buses to Milano from Domodossola on 29th Sep in the Trenitalia . If possible, could you tell me where the problem with the way I searched. Thanks very much.

Your are right, only the Eurocity are canceled and you can also take a regional train.

This is different as this summer where all regional trains are replaced by buses and a change is necessary. However, I think that the timetable is not definitive and regional trains could be cancelled later. To be sure, I suggest to book a seat in a direct EC bus.

The regional trains are so bad. Thanks for your suggestion.But I’m more concerned about the safety of my luggage if I take the bus.Anyway, I am very appreciate your reply. By the way, I find it will cheaper if I buy ticket separately.Thanks a lot.
