Buying ticket on the day ?

I arrive at Geneva airport on 1 September @ 1640 with EasyJet

I want to take a train to Orsières that evening.

There are trains almost hourly- 17.19, 1801, 1818, 1901 etc

At present the price is c £32 /36chf.
Q. Will the price increase and cost more on the day?

I don’t want to buy now in case my flight may be delayed…..

Q Can I buy a ticket on the train or at the airport?

A one-way, regular point-to-point ticket at full fare costs CHF 59.80, not CHF 36.

The cost for a regular ticket does not change.

I don’t want to buy now in case my flight may be delayed…..

Regular tickets are good for any connection. Supersaver tickets are not recommended when arriving by air.

Can I buy a ticket on the train or at the airport?

You can purchase the ticket at the airport, either at the SBB travel center, or from the ticketing machine. No ticket purchases on train, you must be in the possession of your ticket before getting on the train.
