Have you received the invoice for another year? For some countries (client address), there is no auto-renewal unless you were an expat with a Swiss address or living in one of the neighbouring countries.
Please contact the SBB Contact Center to see if an extraordinary cancellation is possible. Normally, the resident’s Half Fare Card cannot be cancelled at short-term. To close the account does not help either. If you were caught speeding, selling your car will not prevent you from receiving the fine 😃.
