E-Ticket with "via" valid for direct trains

Hello all,

I have a ticket which is like this (Basel - Bern), which is valid for some time frame:

Basel SBB

via Olten

Bern

When I check the timetable for example on a given day between 18:00 and 19:00 I see 5 trains from Basel SBB to Bern:

18:01 S 3 Direction Olten

18:03 IR 26 Direction BEllinzona

18:16 IR 27 Direction Luzern

18:28 IC 61 Direction Interlaken Ost

18:56 IC 6 Direction Brig

The bolded ones have this change of trains at Olten (like my ticket specifies).

Question is: Is my ticket valid only for those train with obligatory change at Olten, or I am permitted to take whatever train from Basel SBB to Bern.

No. It is valid on all trains taking this route, Basel SBB - Olten - Bern, with or without a change of trains in Olten.

On the other hand, the ticket would not be valid on the Basel SBB - Biel/Bienne - Bern route.
