That ZVV calendar day pass charged by EasyRide (or Fairtiq or ZVV App Checkin/Checkout) with „return“ journeys is even about 10% cheaper than the normal 24h ticket!
That sounds like a deal, but if using EasyRide, always strictly make sure to
- activate it while you still can see the sky for a precise and fast GPS localization (NEVER in an underground station)
- double-check EasyRide is really(!) activated BEFORE boarding the train or vehicle
Otherwise, in case the (server confirmed) activation is delayed e.g. because of a bad GPS connection, you‘ll be fined in a ticket control if that successful activation finally occured only after the departure time!
