I purchased a new Half Fare Card 3 months ago and the Swiss Pass has not yet arrived by post. How long does this usually take. The temporary (paper) pass that was issued at the time is due to expire soon.

We apologise for the delay in the production of your SwissPass card.

Due to the global supply shortage of electronic chips, there are currently delays in SwissPass card production. Production may take up to eight weeks. You can obtain another free transitional SwissPass at an SBB railway counter if it expires. This is valid for 90 days.

We hope that your new SwissPass will arrive promptly.
