Pont to point ticket are valid for returning too?

There is no definitive answer to that question.

It depends on the ticket type, for example a zone-based ticket or national ticket, and in the latter case, whether it is a single or a return ticket.

I’m so confused
I’m Living in Ebikon (Luzern kanton)
My work is in Menzingen(Zug Kanton)
The distance between the two is about 1hour with public transport
But I’m new in Switzerland and I can’t find out what would be the best and most reliable solution in weekly basis

I assume the Streckenabonnement or Modulabonnement, the latter could also include the city zone 10 of Lucerne, might be the most cost-effective travel card. Many people commuting between Zug and Lucerne use a Streckenabonnement.

Another advice, not travel related yet still important: when you approach someone in Switzerland, no matter whom, to ask advice or help, do not forget to greet the person first, before asking your question. It is very important and part of the Swiss social etiquette. Otherwise you are seen as a rude person. You probably don’t want to be seen as such 😃
