Spiez to Milano

I am trying to book tickets from Spiez to Milano on SBB website. However, I am not able to proceed owing to no tickets between Spiez and Milano. Is there some work being done on this route? Also if there are other alternative routes available to reach Milano from Interlaken/Spiez.

Rohan2970 I found the problem. The morning Eurocity trains are sold out or only first class tickets are available. You can find free seats in the afternoon, Spiez departure at 14:05.

You can reach Milano via Bern - Zürich, but it would take more time and it is more expensive.

A train selling out 2 weeks in advance. That is a disgrace. Especially if you know that this train is usually run with 2 train sets, of which the second one runs empty all the way to Milano…

This makes it basically impossible for people that have destinations further south in Italy to travel by train.

Probaly onlybone unit ofb with Eurocity train will runningfrom Domodossola to Milano. It seems thiscunict isvsoldvout.

May be it is possible to buy a ticket from Spiez to Domodossola and a Trenord Ticket from Domodossola to Milano departure at 9.54 h.

Limeuhu12 every time I have been on that train both units continued all the way to Milano, but one was closed of in Domodossola.

I have seen the same in the reverse: Two units from Milano to Basel, but only one was open.

And that has been going on for some time. It is disgraceful to run empty trains and at the same time turn away passengers.
