One day in Lucerne from Zurich

Hi everyone,

I am writing to seek advice on my one-day trip to Lucerne, from Zurich.

My trip will be basically Lucerne -(boat)- vitznau -(train)- Rigi -(train/cable car)- Weggis -(boat)- Lucerne. For the Lucerne city, I will do some citywalk on foot at the most.
I plan to go tmr, i am holding a half fare travel card, and the saver day pass ran out already. So I am thinking maybe I should buy train ticket for Zurich-Lucerne first, and buy tickets one by one for my rest trip?

Or any advice on the ticket to save money?

If you have an Half Fare travelcard, you can buy a non-discounted Day Pass if Saver Day Passes are sold out:

It is not necessary to buy such day passes in advance, wait until the day of departure.

May i travel with EasyRide all way in my trip? then the maximum should be the same as the non-discounted Day Pass?

Yes, you can.

Simply make sure the Half Fare option is activated in your traveller’s profile, and you have your Swiss Half Fare Card plus your physical passport or identity card with you.

Yes, using EasyRide with a Half Fare Card, and you will exceed the CHF 75, it will charge you a Day Pass for the Half Fare Card.
