From 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, to 2:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, trains may experience cancellations or changes due to a national strike by staff of the FS Group, Trenitalia, Trenitalia Tper, and Trenord.
The strike action may also lead to service changes before the start and after the conclusion of the strike.
Travelers who wish to cancel their trip can request a refund starting from the strike announcement:
- Up to the departure time of the booked train for Intercity and Frecce trains;
- Up to 12:00 a.m. the day before the strike for Regional trains. Alternatively, they can reschedule their trip under similar transport conditions as soon as possible, depending on seat availability.
