Day pass requires Swiss Travel Half Pass?

Hi guys

Ill be travelling to Swiss for the first time and intending to purchase the Day pass. We will be travelling from Iseltwald to Fifa Museum, wanted to purchase via the website how ever it stated that it requires Half fare tavel card. Do i really need the Half fare card to be able to use Day Pass?

Also, am i able to use the day pass anywhere in the country? or only limited places?

You can also buy a Saver Day Pass without an Half Fare Travelcard, the price is higher. When you define the passengers, be sure to select “no discount” and check that the system offers a full fare day pass. Saver Day Passes are not exchangeable and not refundable

You can use the day pass everywhere in Switzerland, including trams and buses, except for some mountain excursions.

Also verify that the FIFA Musuem is open before buying a ticket, it is closed on Mondays and they may have exceptional closures:

may i also confirm if the day pass can be used from 12am to 5am the next day? does this mean i can use the pass anywhere? how do i use this pass when taking the train, tram and bus? do i simply board and show the officer if they need to validate it? thanks in advance 🙏🏻

Yes, this pass can be used from 12am to 5am the next day and you can use it anywhere, except for most mountain trains and cable cars.

You don’t need to validate it, but don’t forget your physical passport or identity card to show them with the pass if a control occurs.
