Swiss Travel Pass purchase valid date

Hi,
I am trying to purchase an 8 consecutive day Swiss Travel pass for an upcoming trip. When I attempt to purchase the pass & then prompted to select “Valid from” date, does this date mean when I want the pass to start or when I want the pass to expire? For example, if I am arriving & want my pass to start on 21.09.2024, would I select that date since I will be using it for the next 8 days?

Yes, exactly. The validity start date determines the first date of validity, or in other words, the first day you want to use your Swiss Travel Pass. It is then active for the next 7 days to follow.
