Sierre/Siders to Visp Issues?

Hello,

I am having trouble reserving train tickets on sbb.ch from Chamonix, France to Zermatt for 21 September.

It appears that the cause is between ‘Sierre/Siders’ and ‘Visp’. The website doesn’t give too many details, unfortunately.

It looks I could buy tickets from ‘Vallorcine’ to ‘Sierre/Siders’ and from ‘Visp’ to ‘Zermatt’.

Does anyone know if the train should be operational between Sierre/Siders and Visp on this date?

Hello Brad

Replacement buses are running this day between Sierre and Visp, they are designated as *B EV " in the timetable. Try later to buy the ticket, some changes must be made in the system. This is a known problem.
