I wrongly purchased a Day Pass for half fare,travel card for 4th May. How can I get refund? I read the directory under,Refund section but I don’t understand what exactly I need to do. Pls advise, thanks

If your ticket is a paper ticket, simply see a station travel office to refund your ticket. The administration fee for the refund is CHF 10.
If your ticket is an online-ticket, and you bought it with your account, you can refund it online; the refund is free of charge.
If your ticket is an online-ticket, and you bought it as a guest, you can request a refund online. The administration fee for the refund is CHF 10.

Kindly note: the refund must happen before the ticket’s date of validity. A refund at a later stage is only possible, provided the non-use was confirmed by a staff, being a ticket clerk or a train conductor.

If you let us know what type of ticket you have bought and through what channel (ticket machine, counter, online via sbb.ch, SBB Mobile ticket, etc.), we can guide you better.

Dear Roland,

Thanks for your tips. I purchased the ticket through sbb.ch. It is a Day Pass with Half Fare travel card at CHF75, for date 4th May. I had registered an account with Swiss Pass. However, I cannot see now the ticket I purchased when I go to “Orders” page following the guide from web page.

If you can guide me through it will be much appreciated. Thanks

A ticket purchase is always completed by the receipt of a confirmation e-mail. Did you receive the e-mail? The absence of the tickets in the list of orders and a missing e-mail confirmation will mean that the purchase did not work. Kindly see your credit card account, the previously debited (reserved) amount might be back on your account.

For a successful payment, you need a credit card that supports 3D secure ID. Only tickets which were bought with an account (and being authenticated meanwhile) will show up in the list of orders.
