can I travel with a seat resvervation and saver day pass with full fare in glacier train?

can i use saver day pass with full fare to get 50% on zermatt to gornergrat round ticket?

With a saver day pass and mandatory reservation, you can travel with the Glacier Express.

If you do not have a half-fare card, the full price must be paid to get to the Gornergrat.
