Purchasing a ticket with 1-month GA Travelcard

Good morning,

Less than a week ago, I acquired the 1-month GA Travelcard so that its first day of validity is April 22nd. I have been trying to book tickets for dates within the period of validity, but when purchasing I cannot find an option to apply the price reduction of the travelcard. I have read that I need to indicate my GA as a discount card when I am ordering my ticket, but I cannot find any specific code or words that work.

How can I book online tickets with my GA Travelcard? Is it possible that I might not be able to purchase tickets because the travelcard is not yet valid (even though the dates are within the period of validity)?

The GA Travelcard is your ticket. There is no need to buy further tickets. If you hold a 2nd class GA Travelcard and wish to buy an upgrade to 1st class, or for a section where your GA grants 50% off, you can buy a half fare ticket in addition. The SBB Mobile app should recognise your Travelcard once it has been activated and offer tickets at half fare only.

So you just show your Swiss Pass when you board a train or bus and you need nothing else?

With a subscription such as GA, and provided the journey is completely covered by it, yes 🙂
