Is online purchase of half fare card only sent by mail?

purchase of Swiss half fare for visitors
I went to purchase half fare on SBB site and it seems like it is sent by mail. Can I just purchase at Basel train station? and where do you enter it on your profile?

Yes, you can buy it at the Basel station, but you can already buy tickets now if you want Supersaver Tickets or Saver Day Passes. You can select the discount card “Half Fare Travelcard” when you define the passengers. By default, the prices with this card are displayed in the online timetable.

Furthermore, the Swiss Half Fare Card that you purchase at the counter is a paper ticket. It cannot be used as an e-ticket, and not be added to the SBB Mobile App. In case of loss, you must purchase a new Swiss Half Fare Card (no replacement in case of loss)..
