Hello Raipoquoa85
Please kindly note, the prices indicated are in CHF, not in $.
Your question is a very frequent one.
We do not recommend Supersaver tickets when arriving by air. Supersaver tickets are valid for one specific connection; if you can’t meet the indicated departure time, for example because your flight to Geneva has got a delay, you are required to purchase new regular tickets on-site at CHF 106 each as your Supersaver tickets will have expired.
That said, you are better off purchasing the Saver Day Pass. It is good for any connection on that day, yet its price is increasing the nearer the travel date, and there is no refund in case of inability to travel.
If you need full flexibility, simply purchase the regular point-to-point ticket at CHF 106. It can be cancelled anytime until the day before travel, and it is good for any connection.
If you will travel from Zermatt to Geneva Airport again, for this trip you can easily purchase a Supersaver ticket as you will likely be able to meet the departure time.
Does that make sense?
Using a Saver Day Pass or a Point-to-point ticket, you could take a stop at Montreux, which is well worth a stop for its southern flair, French character and beautiful waterfront promenades. It also hosts the Chaplin museum. Or you could visit the Chillon castle, which is near Montreux if you are into medieval times and castles.
Kind regards,
Roland
