Unireso Zone 10 Geneve Discounts

Hello to all of you.
I have just arrived in Switzerland and live in Geneva. On my arrival I have been given the Geneva Travel Card for which, according to the card, I get free travel throughout zone 10.
However, when I go to buy train tickets, indicating that I have this voucher, the destinations within zone 10, according to the map, are also charged. So, what are the conditions to enjoy the discount of this card on trains?

Which train tickets do you want to buy? If you travel in the zone 10, you can use your card and you don’t need a ticket.

The guest card is not accounted using the SBB Mobile app. In fact, you are not allowed to enter the card (zone) manually in your passenger details.

When you leave the Unireso zone 10, you are required to buy a ticket from the service’s last stop within zone 10 to your destination.

To Versoix, the free ticket is only valid on direct services, not via Coppet.

I’ve downloaded the map in PDF format. What are you referring to when you talk about activating it on the smartphone?

For example, to go to Versoix, although my card says I can travel in zone 10, I’m charged for the journey, even though it should be free.

Another question I have is what to do about journeys where part of the journey is in zone 10 and part is not. Do I have to pay the full fare, part of it or is it free? For example, for the journey to Annemasse, whether by train or tram.

Tooquachess26 If you don’t have this card on your smartphone, you probably got it at the check-in in the hotel.

If you go to Versoix, you don’t need a ticket, if you don’t buy a ticket, you will never be charged.

Sorry, I don’t know how you can buy a ticket if a part of the journey is in zone 10 and a part is not. You should ask at the ticket office in Geneva station or a TPG agency.
