When purchasing my monthly season ticket from my home to my company, I followed the suggested plan, which included a 7-zone route via Pâqueret and Renens VD. Based on this, I accepted the proposed ticket. However, today, while taking bus 33 from my home to Renens VD, Gare Sud, I was informed that my monthly card does not cover zone 12.
This is perplexing because both my residence and Renens VD, Gare Sud are located in zone 12. It seems that, according to my current ticket, I am not allowed to use public transportation in zone 12 unless I somehow bypass it completely, which doesn’t make sense.
Furthermore, the SBB app suggested that I could take bus 701 and transfer to bus 33 to travel from Pâqueret to Renens VD, but nowhere was it indicated that I must only take bus 31 directly from Saint-Sulpice, Castolin to Renens VD. I was simply following the official route suggested by the application.
As a result, despite using the recommended route and ticket, I was fined 78 CHF for not including zone 12 in my plan, even though it covers both my start and end points. If you don’t want me to travel within zone12, then don’t give me the wrong recommendation on your website, I’m really furious about both sbb.ch and the TL right now. I feel like you’re robbing my money.
