Hi,
I plan to purchase Saver day pass for my travel in Switzerland but same is not refundable.

Are there conditions under which it is? Only reason not to travel can be medical condition, will that qualify for refund and is it convenient to get refund.

The saver day pass can only be refunded in the following cases in accordance with tariff T600.9:

Inability to take the connection indicated on the saver ticket (canceled connection)
-> Refund of the saver ticket and simultaneous purchase of a regular fare ticket. The refund is possible both before and after the start of the validity of the saver ticket. The purchase of a new regular fare ticket for the same day must be proven. Only tickets with exactly the same route and class can be refunded. The customer must present the original saver ticket and the original regular fare ticket.
Transport ticket purchased multiple times -> The travel date, schedule, first name, last name, and date of birth of the traveler are identical.
Transport ticket purchased for the wrong customer group (saver ticket without half-fare card or full price instead of reduced fare) -> A refund is only possible if the purchase of a correct new ticket can be proven (schedule, first name, last name, and date of birth of the traveler must be identical). In this case, a full refund should always be granted.
Inability to travel due to medical reasons (illness, accident) -> A medical certificate must be provided.

You would have to have the Swiss Half Fare Card plus a Day Pass for the Half Fare Card.

The latter is refundable until midnight before the ticket’s validity.

A Saver Day Pass is never refundable due change of plans.
