using Swiss Travel Pass transport from Italy to Switzerland

I plan to travel from Milan Malpensa Airport to Chur. According to my research, I need to first travel from Malpensa Airport T1 to Bellinzona and then take a bus to Chur.

Question 1:
For the first leg from Malpensa Airport T1 to Bellinzona, I plan to take the S50 train. If I have the Swiss Travel Pass, do I need to purchase an additional ticket? According to the app, using the Half Fare Travelcard costs CHF 23.10. Does the Swiss Travel Pass offer any discount for this? Or we have to pay the full price?

Question 2:
For the journey from Bellinzona to Chur on the B171 bus, can I board directly with the Swiss Travel Pass, or do I need to purchase a ticket beforehand? If so, where can I buy it?

You will need a ticket from Malpensa T1 to the Swiss border. From there onwards you use your pass.

So what you need to do at the airport is just buy a ticket to Cantello-Cagiolo, which is the station from where your Swiss Travel Pass is valid. Than just board the S50, and stay on it till Bellinzona.

For the Bus to Chur you do not need to do anything. Just find the bus, and get on. There are no extra formalities, no extra tickets needed when using public transit with your Swiss Travel Pass.
