Purchasing tickets with the Swiss Half Fare Card: which discount to choose?

Hello!
As a foreign resident, I intend to purchase a Swiss Half Fare Card and then some Saver Day Passes as well as other regular tickets to use with it. However, on the reductions page (SBB.ch or SBB app) only the Half Fare Travelcard (½) option is available, which I presume to be the anual one which is loaded onto the SwissPass. Is that the correct discount to select when purchasing tickets to be used with a Swiss Half Fare Card?
Also, upon ticket inspection, should I present both the Swiss Half Fare Card as well as the regular ticket (or Saver Day Pass)?

Yes, you can buy tickets or Saver Day Passes with the discount « Half Fare Travelcard », this is the same price.

You are right, you should present both, but also your physical passport or identity card.
