How to add/change date for lost item report?

It is currently not possible to enter a date for the lost item report. The date field does not allow you to type any date and any date selected via the calendar widget that opens when selecting it does enter the date in dd/mm/yyyy format, while the date field only accepts mm/dd/yyyy.

This must be a problem using a computer with an operating system with standard date format being mm/dd/yyyy. I cannot reproduce the case. What date format does your operating system use?

The only difference I noticed, however, when you enter a date in the future, the date example in the error message is wrong and does not correspond to the date format required in the date field (POSP CS009549241).

Thanks for the trying to help.
I’m trying to change a loss report from 3rd of October to 4th of October. I tried it both on Android and IOS, both of which are set to dd/mm/yyyy formats.
