Albis 24hr ticket

Hello! Im looking to go from Zurich HB to Kilchberg and then Kilchberg to Uetliberg and then back to Zurich, three trains all within 24 hours. Is an Albis ticket correct for this?
I didnt see an albis ticket pop up on the first leg of the trip but then I saw it pop up on the second leg of the trip but Im not sure how to adjust the time. Kilchberg to Uetliberg’s journey would start at 14:00 and I need the Albi pass to start at 09:30.

Any ideas?

Yes, the Albis 24h ticket is the best choice, as it includes all your necessary zones (see ZVV zone map)

On the SBB website or app, simply select a return ticket for your first Zurich HB - Kilchberg leg at 09:30, then the Albis 24h Ticket should pop up as an additional option to the normal return ticket.
On the ZVV website or app, such special local passes can be selected directly, without looking up a particular connection first.

The only ticket that pops up is the ZVV 24hr ticket 3 zone, not the Albis ticket.
I entered a return journey from Zurich to Kilchberg on SBB website.

RedBaron hm interesting, i did mine farther out in november. is that too early for the albis ticket to show up?

Works for me in December as well, no idea why.
What if you try Zurich HB - Uetliberg for a connection leaving before 09:30 instead?
Or a different browser?

However there’s really no need to buy such a ticket that far in advance… (nothing but trouble if there’s some change of plans). They never sell out and could also be bought 5 minutes before departure.

RedBaron I believe the zurich to uetliberg works and shows the albis ticket. I just wasnt sure if that was going to cause a problem if my ticket got checked as i wouldnt start my journey going to uetliberg.

if you take out the half fare travelcard, the albis ticket will not populate

Not having to pick any route is exactly the point about such zone tickets:
Within the validity period stated on the ticket, you can travel back and forth within the listed zones as many times as you like!

Picking a route in the SBB timetable just ensures that if buying a ticket from there, all necessary zones will be included (not everyone is checking zone maps) and the validity time/date is correct for the intended connection. But there’s no need to actually take that route, as it’s not mentioned on the ticket. Just the zones and the validity period.
