Saver day pass from como Giovanni to Luzern ?

Hi I plan to travel from Como Giovanni to Luzern. Can I use a Saver day pass to buy a train ticket? I know that I may need to pay extra for the route in Italy. When I was trying to buy a ticket, I could not find the Travel day pass option under “reduction for tab” section.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Champs

You have to split the journey; buy a ticket Como to Chiasso with Trenitalia, then a Saver Day Pass valid from Chiasso with SBB.

You cannot select the Saver Day Pass as reduction type; selecting its equivalent, the GA Travelcard, is not allowed while actually using a Saver Day Pass.
