I just spent a good hour and a half trying to figure out the super saver option completely 🙃

I understand you must take a specific train for a specific hour.

I couldn’t understand whether you can hop on&off the train.

I’m planning to take the train from Tirano to St. Moritz, though not by the bernina express, so I can hop on&off the train, while saving some money.

If I’ll get the Supersaver pass for the Tiranot-St. Moritz journey, will I have to travel non-stop until St.Moritz?

Supersaver tickets are very inexpensive yet, by using them, you will sacrify flexibilty. They are not ideal if you want to take stops along the train line.

In other words you must stick to the itinerary and times as indicated during ticket purchase and shown on the ticket later. You are NOT allowed to change to a later or earlier train. Your ticket is only valid on the indicated train(s).

If you want the flexibility and to take stops, you either buy Supersaver tickets from one stop to the next, or a normal ticket. Latter allows you to take multiple stops on your way yet no backtracking.
