Is my annual point to point ticket valid in this situation?

I commute home from Geneva to Bougy-Villars with an annual point to point pass which has Bougy-Villars Dessus as the destination. There are trains from Geneva to Rolle every 30 minutes but the connecting bus to Bougy-Villars is only every 60 minutes. If I end up on the “wrong” train which doesn’t connect with the 721 bus to Bougy-Villars, I take the 840 bus to Mont-sur-Rolle La Ferme and walk instead. When I do this I always buy a bus ticket for the journey from Rolle Gare Nord to Mont-sur-Rolle La Ferme. However, I’m wondering if this is necessary because Bougy-Villars and Mont-sur-Rolle are in the same Mobilis zone? I tried asking some bus drivers but they didn’t know! Thank you in advance for your help.

You don’t have a Mobilis pass, because Geneva is not in the canton of Vaud. I suppose the destination « Bougy-Villars » is mentioned, and you have also a via “Bus PAG - Rolle”.

You should ask the SBB if it were possible to include “Mont-sur-Rolle, La Ferme” as via. The system generates this via: “Bougy-Villars - Bus PAG - Rolle - Bus PAG - Mont-sur-Rolle Ferme - Bus PAG - Rolle - Genève”. But the price were higher, I don’t know if it were better as to buy tickets.

Danhiel thanks very much Danhiel, that was really helpful. I didn’t know I could add the stop like that using the Via option. I used it to work out that I need to do the journey 52 times per year to buy the annual ticket. I definitely do less than that so will keep buying the single journey bus ticket whenever I need it. Thanks again!
