Hi there, I have been trying for some time to book a return trip from Milano Centrale to Interlaken West (depart Milan 22/12/24, depart Interlaken West 25/12/24). I keep getting the same message -
Your journey could not be booked. The train is already fully booked or has been cancelled due to engineering work, or the travel date is too far in the future (advance booking deadlines).

For connections with changes: It may be possible to complete the purchase if you split the booking into the individual legs.
I have spoken to SBB who advised try booking at the end of this month, which I am now doing but it’s not working. Any advice?
I also note that date 22/12/24 mentions replacement buses between Milano and Domodossola, my other question is whether large suitcases can be taken this way and whether we will need to switch at Domodossola to a train, then go to Brig and continue from there? Will we make the connections in time or will it not work?
We are a group of 4 travelling from Australia, and we have booked accomodation in Interlaken and need to ensure we can get there.
