This is not an issue. The ticket inspector wants to know your name, and eventually your date of birth. The passport number is no longer of any concern, at least not with e-tickets.
I assume the personal information has not been changed, despite the new passport.
If the passport has indeed been changed due to a name change (e.g. marriage), simply travel with both, the old and the new passport to prove the name change.
