Normal tickets are for a route, not a train, so there is not even a schedule printed on the ticket. Just the start and end points, often a discription of the route to take, and a date and time of validity.
You can use that ticket to take any bus and train on the route, and can break your journey as often as you want, as long as you keep travelling in the same direction.
