Easy.
You have your suitcase with you, so you do not need to pick them up. As the train approaches Samedan you get up, collect your luggagen and move to the door.
20 seconds after the train has arrived you will be standing on the platform, with your luggage.
10 seconds later you will have crossed the platform to the train on the other side. Maybe 10 steps or so.
Within a minute you will be on the other train.
Isn’t it great how the railways try not to waste your time?
The 9 minutes in Pontresina however you will wish were 3 minutes as well…
