Hi All!
I intend to utilise the Station to Station service for my luggages as i’ll be making short one-day trips across a few cities. My plan is to drop my luggages at Basel Station, and collect them from Interlaken Station 4 days later. In between, I’ll be travelling from Basel to Biel/Bienne, Bern, Thun and Lauterbrunnen. However, I saw a note mentioning the following:
“The shipping of luggage is only possible with a valid ticket for the entire transport route or with a valid annual travelcard (GA Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard, Point-to-Point Travelcard, Regional Travelcard, GA Travelcard for SBB employees, Night GA Travelcard, Modular Travelcard) and is not possible if it involves commercial consignments and private consignments unrelated to travel (e.g. shipping of goods sold/ordered, merchandise, removals, etc.).”
Does this mean I will be unable to use this service since I do not have a direct train ticket from Basel to Interlaken? If so, do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Would buying all thet tickets in advance help? Thank you!
