I was informed my lost item was found & is left at Geneva Airport Train Station. The notice of loss is K2024/197145 dated 11/23/2024 (Finding F2024/105447).
Since I have already left Switzerland, I’m asking a friend who is living in Chiasso Switzerland to help claim the item on my behalf. May I request your kind office to transfer my item from Geneva to Chiasso Station instead. Please let me know so that I can authorize my friend to pick up the item when it arrived at Chiasso Station. Thank You.

Wonder you can help me on the following.

I was informed that my item was found and is currently located at Geneva Airport Train Station. The notice of Loss given to me is K2024/197145 dated 11/23/2044 (Finding F2024/105447). Since I have already left Switzerland, I’m asking a friend who is living in Chiasso Switzerland to help claim the item on my behalf. May I request your kind office to transfer my item to Chiasso Station. Please let me know so that I can authorize my friend to pick up the item when it arrived at Chiasso Station.

I wrote the above message & report to the Loss/Found department but did not get the right reply from SBB.

Messages are answered within days. If you need a quick reply, please make a call.

You must send a passport copy and an authorisation from you stating that someone else will pick up the baggage; the authorisation must name the person who will pick up the luggage.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, noted of the requirement needed to authorize my friend for the pick up on my behalf. However right now I only want to know when or will my item be transferred from Geneva Airport to Chiasso Train? Will need someone to notify me as soon as my item is at Chiasso Train Station for pick up. Thank you.

Any update on my message to you 2 days ago? I do not know the right channel to approach help on my request on the transfer of my found item (K2024/……) dated 11/23/2044.
