Junior Travelcard for a 15 year old turning 16?

We will be traveling in Switzerland over Christmas and I’d like to get the Junior Travelcard for my daughter, who is currently 15. Her birthday is December 25, when she will turn 16. If I purchase the travelcard before her birthday, should we be okay to use it until we leave Switzerland? We’re only there for 2 weeks and I will be purchasing the SwissPass 15-day ticket. (Basically, will I be allowed to purchase this junior travelcard for her a few days before her birthday? Will anyone say anything?)

You can buy the Junior card, and then use it till the day before she turns 16…
Once she turns 16 she is an adult.

Note that:

The Swiss Travel Pass comes with the Family card. No need to buy the Junior card. However, again, only for children…
The Family Card/Junior Card only give free travel when an adult with a valid ticket or pass accompanies the child. It does not allow your daughter to travel for free on her own.

There is a Swiss Travel Pass Youth, which would work for your Daughter. Or maybe you do not need the Swiss Travel Pass at all, and you are better off with another product.
