seat reservation not available on SBB app

Travelling Zurich HB to Martigny on January 8th, 2025… I have purchased saver day passes for my wife and I through the SBB app. I tried to do so on the website, but it kept rejecting my payment via credit card - the same credit card I was able to use on the app. On the web booking I was able to add seat reservation, but it was not available on the SBB app booking. Any ideas how I can add please? My swiss friend recommended it as we will be travelling during rush hour 5:20pm > 8:20pm. Thanks in advance. Also, does anyone have an email address for SBB contact centre/help?

You can reserve seats in the app, select « Purchase tickets » and scroll down, You will find « Seat reservation only ». Note that you can reserve only in the Intercity from Zürich to Lausanne or Brig, but not in the Interregio to Martigny.

No mail address is available. You must call the Contact Center:

0848 44 66 88 in Switzerland or +41 51 225 78 56 from a foreign country (24/7, waiting times may occur).
