I am a foreign resident currently living in Switzerland and have a valid address here. I applied for a new SwissPass card through the SwissPass website. My plan was to first receive the card and then purchase the Half Fare Travelcard (CHF 190).
I completed the process of scanning my passport and uploading a photo, but the only message I received was:
“Information: We are currently processing your application for a new SwissPass. We will contact you if we require further information.”
After waiting for a day, I was prompted to upload my photo again. I suspected that the format of my photo might not meet the requirements, so I resized and re-uploaded it. However, it seems the card is still not being issued.
I have been going through this process for several days now, repeatedly resizing and re-uploading my photo. Each time, after a day, the message to “Add photo” reappears. I believe my card is still not being issued.
Could you please advise me on how to successfully get my card issued? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
