Snow: disruption to vital journey

It is possible that our pre-booked (Supersaver) train early tomorrow morning will be disrupted by snow. We must be in Zurich for our TGV to Paris at a specific time. So we may have to follow a different route in case the pre-booked train over the mountain is cancelled. How do train companies handle situations like this (Supersaver travellers on the “wrong” train)?

In case of disruption you can take the next available train with the same ticket, but, for the TGV, you need a new (free) seat reservation. It were advisable to visit a ticket office if you are late or if you know that you will be late and miss the planned TGV.

Where is your trip starting from?

Anyway, your job is to be at the station on time for your first train. The Railway’s job is to get you to Paris. If due to a cancellation or delay you were to miss your train to Paris they will rebook you at no charge on the next one.
