Help with Bernia Express route

I want to purchase a round trip ticket from Tirano to St Moritz, I see point to point ticket , so do I just get on the train and choose a seat ?
I really want to take the Bernia express , however it shows sold out , should I take a chance there may be tickets , and if not buy a ticket on the reg train at that time?

A normal ticket (called point-to-point for some mysterious reason only a few at SBB will understand) is good for any train on a route, on the day it is valid. So if you buy a normal return ticket to st. Moritz you can indeed take any train.
And you can even take the Bernina Express. You do not need reservations if you sit in the normal cars at the front of the train.

You also do not need to buy this ticket in advance. It will be the same price at the station…
