My girlfriend and I booked the Saver Day pass from Küsnacht ZH to Ascona on 07.08.2023 for a day trip on 03.09.2023.
A few days later the Gotthard incident happened which meant that the ride duration was increased to 4 hours (with all the stops etc.)
This was meant to be a day trip since the initial amount of time required was doable but after the tunnel incident, we needed 8 hours for a round trip.
Is there any refund policy for such a situation?
We issued a refund request and since there was no appropriate option we selected the “bought a new ticket”. But obviously, SBB requested the new ticket which we don’t have, and couldn’t book any since there is no date announced for fixing the tunnel.
