Seat Reservation & sync tickets on the SBB App

Hello all- Recently I bought tickets for BASEL SBB to Interlaken OST for second week of May 2025. I bought the tickets on the computer while logging into my profile with SBB that I created earlier. After buying the tickets I realized that I should be also reserving the seats just to have that peace of mind.

After going through the SBB site, I couldn’t locate how to reserve the seats for the tickets already purchased. My questions:

How important is it to reserve the seats for this trip?
If its needed, how can I reserve the seats after I have already purchased the tickets?
How can I see the tickets on the SBB app which I bought on SBB site?

It is not at all necessary to reserve seats for that trip. It is also not at all necessary to book travel for May already in December. >90% of the people on your train will have bought the ticket on the day of travel, and probably none will have reservations.Trains are mass transit, used by people to go about their daily business.

If you log in to the SBB app with the same account you bought your tickets under you will see them.
